The Problem
Many mothers in New York City face overwhelming challenges in caring for their children without access to the resources and support they need. Too often, mothers lack the basic essentials such as diapers, formula, clothing, and hygiene products that are critical for their children’s health and well-being. Without proper support systems, manymothers struggle to find and maintain employment, leaving them without a path to financial stability or independence. The absence of these resources creates a cycle of hardship where mothers are forced to make impossible choices between providing for their children’s daily needs and seeking opportunities to build a better future. These unmet needs leave mothers feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and powerless, while their children suffer from the lack of stability every family deserves.
Our Solutions
Amaia’s Home for Mothers Corp is dedicated to breaking these cycles of hardship by giving mothers the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. Essential Supply Kits - We provide mothers with diapers, formula, clothing, hygiene items, and other daily essentials so they can meet their children’s most urgent needs without added financial stress. Empowerment & Guidance - Through workshops, mentoring, and referrals, we help mothers build confidence, access training, and gain the skills they need to pursue employment and independence. Ongoing Support - We create a safe, compassionate community where mothers can find encouragement, share experiences, and receive guidance on their journey to stability.
